I am thrilled to be affiliated with and endorse Cannonball Saxophones! After watching the company and their horns for several years, I now believe that Cannonball is in line to dominate the saxophone market and take the lead over newer instruments from the old guard manufacturers: Selmer, Yamaha, Yanagasawa and Keilworth. These horns play great - so great that I shipped home an entire set of MK VI's in favor of playing these! How's that for a vote of confidence?

As a saxophonist who doubles a lot, i.e., one saxophone to another, it is ultimately important to me that my setups play very well together. I had been looking for a very long time for a Baritone mouthpiece that had that “just right” mix of power and “bite” but with an underlying warmth. Simply put, when I played the JodyJazz ESP, I stopped looking. The ESP has to be one of the easiest responding, greatest playing mouthpieces I’ve ever played.

I have been fortunate to be selected as a Rico Artist. I use their products exclusively and have come to really enjoy the responsiveness and warmth of the Select Jazz series. My current setups:

    Clarinet: Grand Select Concert 3 1/2 - 4

    Soprano: Select Jazz Filed 3H

    Alto: Select Jazz Filed 3H - 4S

    Tenor: Select Jazz Filed 4M

    Baritone: Select Jazz Filed 4S
